#sagwas und verhindere Gewalt
A campaign by the Ministry of Social Affairs to prevent femicide. It encourages families, friends, neighbours and colleagues to start a conversation early rather than look away — and raises awareness among men about violence by men.
Alongside it, violence-prevention counselling for men was expanded across every Austrian province, complemented by work with boys and young men, workshops for teenagers and apprentices, and the annual Boys’ Day. The project StoP – Stadtteile ohne Partnergewalt also brings neighbourhoods into violence prevention.

Hol dir Hilfe, bevor es zu spät ist.
A campaign by the men’s counselling centres in cooperation with the Autonomous Austrian Women’s Shelters (AÖF). Video spots in five languages speak directly to men prone to violence and encourage them to seek help before it is too late.
